About the Journal
TermCD - TERMinologie, Communication et Discours is an international peer reviewed journal of terminology whose interests concern specialized terminologies and their relationship with the communicative and discursive dimension, monolingual and plurilingual. The journal, which appears once a year, follows a diachronic and synchronic perspective and aims to constitute a place of meeting and debate around terminology, which represents a privileged access to specialized knowledge and makes it possible to reconstruct its history and its evolution over time.
The journal is also interested in the publication of research results relating to the discursive aspects of terms and to the other denominative processes of concepts and communicative strategies of knowledge and techniques, generally falling within scientific communication.
The journal aims to collect contributions on, among others, the following topics:
- methodology in terminology and specialized communication;
- neology and variation in terminology;
- dissemination and stabilization of terminology;
- corpora for terminology;
- perspectives and resources for terminological work, for the structuring of speeches and communicative interaction;
- terminology, mediation and communication;
- terminology and standardization;
- terminology and language policies;
- strategies and discursive resources for the communication of knowledge.
The journal regularly publishes articles in English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese in order to promote scientific multilingualism in research.
